Carlo's Bake Shop has baked from the same Hoboken counter since 1910. The kiosk takes Buddy Valastro's products to venues that never had a bakery.

A bakery is a lease, an oven, a counter and staff. That is why there is one Carlo’s and not four hundred.

What the kiosk is instead

The kiosk is none of those. Buddy Valastro's products sit behind glass, at temperature, in an awning-red cabinet carrying his face and the 1910 mark — in lobbies, concourses and corridors where a bakery was never going to fit.

A family business that has kept one address for over a century now keeps several, and still only bakes in one.
