One collector. Ten locations.

By Heidy Espinoza

Joe turned a lifelong card collection into ten Fan Stand locations across New York, New Jersey and Puerto Rico. Amerikiosks took the concept to Kroger.

Joe collected cards before he sold them, so he knew both halves of the problem. The hobby is hard to buy into. And a storefront costs more than the margin on a pack of cards.

The cabinet is the storefront

The cabinet answers both. NFL, NBA, MLB and Pokémon behind glass, a touchscreen, no staff, and a mall concourse a few doors down from the game store. The unit is wrapped end to end in Fan Stand's own artwork — the machine is the storefront.

Ten locations, and Kroger

In November 2022 Joe opened the model to other operators. Ten locations followed.

Amerikiosks introduced Fan Stand to Kroger.

“Owning and operating a small business in the hobby I love is a dream come true.”

Joe, Owner of The Fan Stand

No lease, no staff, no build-out.

Fan Stand went from one collection to ten locations across three jurisdictions. The cabinet is the same one your brand would use.
